Shortly after, official EWC accounts issued a denial, stating, “The rumors are false. The tournament will proceed as planned.”
However, later streamer and Team Falcons representative K22N8 confirmed the possibility of a move. Following this, EWC administrators deleted the original denial post.
No official announcement regarding a venue change has been made. EWC 2026 is scheduled to take place from July 7 to August 24 in Riyadh, featuring 24 game titles.
